I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to have vistited 40 of the 50 United States as well as a few places in Canada and Mexico. I am in amazed at the biodiversity in North America.
The southwest offers mountains, desserts, rivers and a lot of different rock formations and colors as well as a variety of plant life.
The upper mid-west provides an abundance of water in the form of lakes, streams and waterfalls, as well as the Soo Locks. And, yes, there is a lot of marshy areas, aka swamps.
The southeast offers numerous beaches, the Smokey Mountains, and the stillness and beauty of the Florida Everglades.
And then the west with the majestic mountains and rivers.
There are various National Parks scattered across the nation with so much to offer. One of my favorites is Glacier National Park.
The food and cultures across this wonderful nation also needs to be mentioned. It is as diverse and distinct to the area it comes from.
